Mrs. Mary McCombs Brown, 65, died at 8 o'clock Monday evening at the Redmon Nursing home on the Indianapolis road. Funeral services will he conducted at 3:15 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Flanigan, Reed, and Hull Funeral home with the Rev. Abram S. Woodard in charge. Burial will be in the city cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home from Wednesday morning until time of the funeral.

Mrs. Brown, who was the daughter of William and Lina Long McCombs, had lived most of her life in Columbus with the exception of several years spent in Shelbyville. She was a member of the First Methodist church and was active in the Alpha class. Since November she has been a patient in the nursing home. Her home was at 734 Union street.

There are no living relatives, her husband having preceded her in death. All funeral arrangements had been made by her.
