Sydney Carton Hart, our beloved husband, dear father and sweet friend has gone home to be with the Lord. He was loved by so many and will be missed terribly by all.
Syd is survived by his loving wife and his three sons Jacob Paul Hart, Derek Matthew Hart both living in Austin and Zacherie Ryan Hart, living in California. Syd also leaves behind his older brother Anthony Hart and his family outside of Houston as well as his sister Alida Michalik and her family in Chicago.
After leaving the military where he served in Germany in the Air Force, Syd settled in Austin where he met his bride to be Karen Carlson and they spent 34 wonderful years together. Syd was an avid golfer and would go play the courses any chance he got. He worked the past 15 years at the Heart Hospital of Austin where he called his coworkers family. None of us can describe the sadness we feel over his passing and will remember him fondly the rest of our days.
There will be graveside services at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 at 10:15 a.m..
