He has been ill, but for the last two days his condition has promised more favorably, & I now hope he will recover & be in time restored to health. Some times, at the best to be expected, to fit him up again for the discharge of the responsible duties of his position, but I hope the misfortunes of the attack will not lessen or deprive him of any of the privileges bestowed upon him, I am, with highest regards, your etc. John J. H. Straith, M.D."
