John Allan Bunten Jr., 60, of Denver died Jan. 7 in Denver.
He was born Jan. 31, 1954, in Cheyenne. He married Kathryn Hoffman Sargent in 2005, and she died at the same time as him. He retired from Union Pacific and Amtrak as a customer service representative and continued to work at Sargent Property Management.
He is survived by his stepmother, Paula Baldeshwiler of Cheyenne; siblings, Cynthia Miller of Houston, Michael Bunten of Cheyenne and Deborah White of Cheyenne; and his mother, Ann Moore of Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Bunten Sr.
