...this person is not listed in the transcription for this cemetery...this cemetery has been thoroughly researched...and I myself have photographed every single inch of it...and we have found NO info saying this person is buried here...would you mind sharing your documentation for listing her here so we can add that info to our database...

I'm pretty sure I was relying on an autobiography and family history of Julia's husband Alex which I found on RootsWeb.com; later I found a better transcribed version. No doubt there are errors/omissions in both transcriptions. -- Somewhere in there was Alex's assertion about the location where some of his wives [he outlived four] & a few of his children were buried. -- Found the quote:

"...are buried in the Murray Cemetery at Chappell Hill. My youngest sister Rebecca Cade, is also buried there, as well as two of my wives and four of my children, and soon I may be there."

And here is the related annotation on the other (undated) transcription:
"John Alexander is buried in the Murray Cemetery, Milam Co., TX. One of his wives Martha Beatrice Greenwood Blackwell, born 22 November 1836 and died 16 December 1876 is buried in the Murray Cemetery, Milam Co., TX next to his son R. Lee Hargrove born 10 June 1866 died 5 December 1870. Also buried there is John Scott (Jack) Hargrove son of John Alexander and Martha B. born 9 March 1873 died 17 January 1957, although this is not the son John Alexander refers to being buried there due to his death date. There are two Murray graves there as well, but we were unable to read them. Which raises the question as to which Murray School House Cemetery he refers to."

It is strange that Alex wrote "Murray Cemetery at Chappell Hill." He was nearing 80 yrs. of age when he wrote this epistle in 1903; maybe he was having trouble with some of the details. He says four of his children were buried there in Murray Cemetery, but there is only one of his children (Lee) who predeceased him listed there. The other three children he was thinking of were Ola, Sallie, & probably Lottie from the first marriage.

Have you seen the document I'm talking about? I put the links on the memorial I created for Alex's brother Bob, who died in Mexico. You have to copy & paste each URL to your browser.

Note that when J.A. 'Alex' Hargrove himself passed away in 1906, in a quoted obituary they called the Milam Co. cemetery 'Murray School House'. Maybe you know the story behind this.
