Mary Regina (Benton) Monholland, 53 year old resident of Broken Arrow, passed away on Thursday evening, January 29, 2015 at Hillcrest South Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born on July 18, 1961 in Miami, to Dr. Charles A. and Edna S. (Berry) Benton.

Regina was a 1979 graduate of Vinita High School and later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She married David Keith Monholland in April of 1996, he preceded her in death. Regina was a Registered Nurse, she worked with those with special needs and terminally ill children. She enjoyed needlepoint, camping, fishing, watching her boys do Karate and be active in Boy Scouts.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband David, nephew Cale Shambles and niece Tanai Shambles.

The family includes; her two sons; brother; sister; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the First Church of God in Vinita, with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Interment will follow at the Pheasant Hill Cemetery north of Vinita.
