A volunteer with the American Red Cross and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple, she was dedicated to the church and her Lord. Teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir and playing the organ were just some of the many things she enjoyed. Her life was dedicated to her family whom she put second only to the Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward William Hose of Clear Spring, whom she married in February 1948. She also is survived by a daughter, Teresa Darlene Elwood of Clear Spring; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Emmanuel Baptist Temple, Hagerstown; burial was in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park; arrangements were by Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home,
