Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville for Major Carl F. Beall of Holmes Beach, Fla., who died July 15.
Services are also scheduled for 1 p.m. today in the Griffith-Cline Island Chapel in Holmes Beach. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Happiness House in Bradenton, Fla., or to the Church of Annunciation in Holmes Beach.
Beall, a former Greenville resident died in the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla. He lived at 537 Key Royale Drive in Holmes Beach.
Beall was born June 27, 1901 in Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Holmes Beach in 1962 from Patrick Air Force base. He was a member of the Brandenton (sic) Elks no. 511 order of the moose, military order of the World Wars, retired officers association of Brandenton (sic), member of the scabbard and Blade, the Montana Druids, the Thi Sigma Biological Society, the Society of American Foresters and the Brandenton (sic) Country Club.
He served in the U.S. Army signal corps for 13 years and retired with the rank of major in 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Mae Beall.
