Carl F. Borzage, 75, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Barbara (Sziksai) Borzage, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2015.

He was born February 14, 1939 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to the late Max and Mary (Wasdovitch) Borzage.

He was an electrical contactor and among a lifetime of projects he had worked on the US Capitol renovations, the construction of the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building and the VA Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. His true passion was restoring antique cars. Carl was the expert who everyone went to for advice on their cars. He had a collection that he was very proud of. He was also a Mason and a Shriner but most especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Barbara, Carl is survived by his daughter, Caren Wheeler and her husband James of Windsor Locks; his sisters, Joan Bandzes of Wethersfield; Maxine Vandrilla and her husband Frederick of Berlin; sisters-in-law, Lynn Oliver and her husband Richard of Windsor; Susan Baker of Tariffville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Kenneth Borzage, his sister, Margaret Crocomo, brothers-in-law William Baker and William Bandzes and his sister-in-law, Laura Dagsher.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 11 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
