JOHN C. CONSROE KILLED AND L.H. FOLMER INJURED IN AUTO CRASH
Attorney John C Consroe, 39, of 34 Squires street was killed and Attorney Louis H. Folmer of 42 Church street was seriously injured when their automobile was involved in a crash on the Homer-Scott road Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 1944 as they were on their way to the Cortland County Bar association clambake at Franklin Briggs' summer home in Scott.

Mr. Consroe attended the University of Michigan and the Albany Law School. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Consroe of 34 Squires street; his wife, Mrs. Josephine C Consroe of New York; two children, David and Marjorie Consroe, both of New York; and six brothers, Joseph, Michael and Frank Consroe, all of Cortland; William and Henry Consroe, both of Syracuse; and Thomas Consroe who is stationed with the army in California.

Dr. D. B. Glezen of Cortland, coroner who was called, released Mr. Consroe's body to the McEvoy Funeral Home.
