Edgil Daniels, 67, of London, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, in his residence. Born March 2, 1936, in Nippa, Ky., he was a son of Vance and Rilda (Castle) Daniels. For approximately 30 years, he had been employed as a fork lift operator at the Sherwin-Williams Company in Columbus. A U.S. Army veteran, Edgil had been a very active member of the London Baptist Church, serving as a deacon of the church and former treasurer for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Gloria (Butcher) Daniels; a and son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Mary Jo Daniels of London; granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson of London; sisters, Mae Minor of Tucson, Ariz., Dorothy (Tom) Daniels of London; brothers, Eschol (Opal) Daniels of Grove City, Allen (Ruth) Daniels of London; special brother-in-law, Earl Adkins of Lexington, Ky.; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; a son, Kevin; two brothers; two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, in the London Baptist Church. The Rev. James Collins will be officiating. Interment will follow in Paint Township Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, London, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
