Mr. Bruster married Vella Riddles on Feb. 16, 1940, in Madill, Okla. Bruster was a rancher and had worked for Warren Petroleum and Gulf. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, former member of the Wise County Sheriff's Posse and was a founder of the Bridgeport Riding Club.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Oliver and Pete Bruster.
He is survived by his wife, Vella; three brothers, Dorris Bruster of Madill, Okla., Buddy Bruster of Chattanooga, Okla., and Dick Bruster of Lubbock; three daughters, Jane Kasner and husband Robert of Bridgeport, Sue Massingill and husband Cliff of Aurora and Judy Bruster and Steven Trammell of Krum; five grandchildren, Robby Kasner, Angela Kasner Picha, Melissa Massingill Buntaine, Marsha Massingill Taylor and Shaunda Taylor Keller; five great-grandchildren, Matt Kasner, Amanda Kasner, Kane Trammell, Jade Keller and Gabe Taylor and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bill Scribner, Ben Bruster, Nick Keller, Rob Buntaine, Dwayne Taylor and Steve Trammell. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Bradley, Price Everett, Bud Davidson, Earl German, C.I. Ford and Charles Kelley.
