Services for Paul L. Riddle, 87, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Maraden Baptist Church, Rev. Claud Williams will officiate, with interment in Lakeview Cemetery at Marietta.

Born March 2, 1903, in Mt. Pleasant, (County?), Texas, to the late Shelby and Mattie Riddle, he died Saturday (5 Jan 1991)in a local nursing home.

A lifelong resident of this area, Riddle was farmer and a member of the Maraden Baptist Chruch. He married Pauline West, July 11, 1935. She proceeded him in death, March 8, 1967. He married Cleo St. Clair, Oct. 25, 1980. She proceeded him in death, Jan. 19, 1987. A grandson, William Leslie Ross, also proceeded him in death, June 22, 1987.

He is survived by four daughters, Alice Taylor, Bonham, Texas, Mary Ann Landrum and Betty Turner, Ardmore, and Bernice Quisenberry, Marietta; one son, Ernest, Marietta; one sister, Eula Lawson, Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons William Paul and James Landrum, Scott Quisenberry, Waylon Ross, Don Riddle and Derek Hallum.

Services will be directed by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
