Nancy E. Brumback Kruvand, 85, of Austin, Texas, died at 3:50 p.m. CST Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in Austin.

She was born February 10, 1929, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of the late David LaDoyt Brumback II and Gladys (Gilliland) Brumback. She married Mark M. Kruvand, who preceded her in death. Her brother, David LaDoyt Brumback III, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Charles (Pamela S.) Kruvand of Austin; and one grandson, Dmitry J. Kruvand, also of Austin.

She was a retired antique dealer in Dallas, Texas. She was very active and full of energy, traveling around the world, and loved to run and dance.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at the funeral home.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Balyeat’s Coffee Shop in downtown Van Wert at 5:30 p.m. Sunday for food and fellowship.

Preferred memorial is Brumback Library in Van Wert.
