She married Thomas White on 25 Dec 1879 at Hollidaysburg, Blair Co., PA.
Mary Etta's obituary in the Altoona Tribune states that she died at the home of her daughter, Elberta Wise. The obituary also states that she was born in Frankstown. "She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Catherine Clapper of Hollidaysburg, R.D. No. 3, Mrs. Elberta Wise of Sinking Valley, Mrs. Lolla Armhein of Sinking Valley, O. H. and S. F. White of Altoona. She also leaves 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one brother, H. L. Harpster, Tipton."
Note that the 1900 and 1910 censuses show that Mary Etta had given birth to 8 children, 5 of whom were then living. We only know the names of those five: Catherine D. (Clapper); Samuel Frank; Elberta Sarah (Wise); Oscar Horest; and Lola M. (Amrhein).
