Anne E. Renaldo, 82, of Pen Argyl passed away on January 26 at Chandler Estates in Pen Argyl, Pa. Born in New York, on Jan. 14, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Iritsky) Winkelbauer of Northampton, Pa. On Feb 16, 1952 she married Anthony Renaldo and relocated to Pen Argyl, Pa. where she lived the remainder of her life. Anne and "Junior" shared 59 years of marriage until his death in 2011 Anne was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School-Class of 1950. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a secretary at the Pennsylvania Supply and Manufacturing Co. She worked in various Slate Belt garment mills including Ideal Fashions and Star Manufacturing in Pen Argyl. She and her husband also owned and operated Renaldo's Plumbing and Heating Service of Roseto. Hard working, generous and energetic, she was a strong supporter, along with her husband Tony, in the early years of the Pen Argyl Green and White Youth Association. A dedicated wife and mother, her life revolved around her home and her children. But her greatest pride and joy were her 4 adored grandsons. A wonderful grandmother, "MeMom" was their strongest supporter; she will be deeply missed. Anne was a member of the ILGWU and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church of Pen Argyl, Pa. Anne is survived by her three devoted children: her daughter, Debra Hicks, wife of George V. of Pen Argyl and her sons Anthony and his wife Roberta of Pen Argyl, and David and his wife Jennifer of Bangor. Grandchildren: Attorney Anthony J Renaldo and wife Paula of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Dr. Stephen D Renaldo and wife Angie of East Norriton, Pa. Kristopher Hicks and wife Kerianne of Roseto, Pa. and Timothy Hicks and his fiancé, Stacy Johnson of Nazareth, Pa. and great-granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Hicks, a sister , Helen Stump, of Northampton, brother-in-law Philip Renaldo and wife Connie of Roseto, brother-in-law August Armelin of Roseto and brother-in-law Daniel Danner of Northampton and sisters-in-law Janette Winkelbauer of Northampton, also several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was pre-deceased by her sister, Mary Danner and a brother Frank Winkelbauer of Northampton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 31 at10:00 in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbit Ave. Pen Argyl. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave. Pen Argyl. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Pen Argyl. The family requests memorial donations be offered in Anna's name to St. Elizabeth's Building Fund, 300 W. Babbitt Ave., Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
