L. H. Thornburgh, publisher of the Alexandria, Neb., Argus since 1895 died at his home in Alexandria Sunday, Dec. 16, at the age of 87. He had for some time made his home with his son, Charles Thornburgh and family. Previous to entering the newspaper field almost 50 years ago, Mr. Thornburgh taught school. He had served in various schools in Nebraska and prior to purchasing the Argus had had charge of the Alexandria schools for three years.
