Sgt John White was apparently burned severely causing his death on Sep 15,1665. Because Hatfield had no stone cutters until about 1720, most grave markers existing before then were made from wood and did not survive through the ages. Being the 1st Cemetery in Hatfield, burials in Hill Cemetery date from the early 1660's. His grandson John Graves is buried nearby and died at about the same age in Aug 1716. see Mem# 132672824Son of Elder John & Mary Ann (Levitt/Levett) White.
