I have been studying Lewis Reeves tombstone, I think his age at death was 9 years/ 7 months and 26 days. He definitely was born in September, I believe in 1852.
In the 1860 Census, he was 8 years old, so he died at age 9 years for sure which would be the year 1861. If you add in the additional 7 months and 26 days, it would most likely make his death year 1862.
I found out his parents are Harlan and Elizabeth CHAPPEL Reeves, also buried at Reeves (Mt. Gilead).
