Amanda was the daughter of Robert Painter & Julia Ann Donaldson. She married Evi Stratton Townsend 13 May 1849. They had one daughter, Electa Bell Townsend b. 25 Feb 1850.
Her remains were probably moved to Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Colma, San Mateo Co, CA when San Francisco county ordered all cemeteries to evacuate all remains. Her stone was probably used as land fill.
