Mr. Irving C. Allegar died 2 Jul 1943, at the Morris stock farm in Green Knoll [Bridgewater], New Jersey. He was born 17 Mar 1885, in Flemington, the son of Ezra and Margaret (Snyder) Allegar. Mr. Allegar was a carpenter contractor and a resident of Somerville for the past 32 years.
He is survived by sons, Ezra and Irving, Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. D.H. Hall and Mrs. Varian Quick; five brothers, Edward, Benjamin, George, Frank and Fred Allegar. Funeral services were held Tuesday [6 Jul 1943] from his residence. Burial was at the New Cemetery, Somerville.
