Son of Charles Frank Liddick and Viola Catherine Skinner.

Married Viola Maria Sundberg 8 Aug 1935 Nodaway, Missouri.

In the 1940 Census, Charles and Viola were looking after his niece, Colene Cohoon but I don't know if they had kids of their own.

Charles entered in the service 13 July 1943 and was promoted to Corporal. He received and commendation from Brig General Stauley R. Mickelson, commanding officer at the anti aircraft training center in Ft. Bliss, Texas. He not only received training in Texas but also Ft, Crook, Nebraska and Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

He lived the last years of his life in Red Oak Iowa but died in the hospital in Omaha, Douglas Co., NE.
