Democratic Banner, Louisiana, Mo. 8-23-1845: DIED, At the residence of Williamson Shaw, Esq., on Friday the 8th inst., of conjestive fever, Miss Rhoda O. Laforce, daughter of Rainey Laforce, dec'd., in the 26th year of her age. Throughout her severe illness of nine days, she evinced the utmost fortitude and resignation to the will of her Heavenly Father. For five or six years she has been an exemplary member of the Baptist Church, and died as she had lived—a devoted and resigned christian.
