ATHENS -- Martha C. Daniell, 75, died June 19. She was a native of Oglethorpe County and the widow of Francis H. Daniell. She retired as a teacher with the Oconee County Board of Education. She was an elder of First Christian Church and a member of Bykota Sunday School Class.
SURVIVORS: two daughters and a son-in-law, Julianne and Dave Phlegar of Watkinsville and Susan Daniell of Gainesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Judy Daniell of Savannah; two sisters, Sarah Smith of Crawford and Hazel Murrow of Farmington; two granddaughters, Katherine Frances Phlegar and Jennifer Louise Daniell; nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, burial in Evergreen Memorial Park. -Savannah Now, June 1999
