Earl D. Adelsberger, 63, of Fairfield R.1., died Thursday morning at 12:30 at York Hospital, where he had been a patient for ten days. He was born in Highland Twp., Adams County, the son of the late Hugh and Anna (Cluck) Adelsberger.

Mr. Adelsberger was a member of the Jacobs's United Church of Christ, and was a quarry foreman for the GAF Co. in Charmain for more than 30 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen McGlaughlin; a son: Earl W. Adelsberger of Fairfield R.1.; three daughters: Audrey Sites of Florida City, Fla.; Marion Binder of Oregon City, Ore.; and Vonnie Harbaugh of Sabillasville, Md.; nine grandchildren; two brothers: Glenn Adelsberger of Gettysburg R.3.; and Norman Adelsberger of Fairfield.
