The Rev Charles A Adcock, 69, of Carmichaels, died at 11:05 pm Sunday, February 2, 1992, at Forbes Hospice in Pittsburgh. He was born July 4, 1922, in Mullenburg County Ky, a son of Colia and Stella Blain Adcock. The Rev Adcock was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Carmichaels and had served as pastor of Beulah Baptist Church of Graysville RD 1. He had worked as a stockbroker for Pennsylvania Funds Securities of Uniontown until his retirement. He previously had been a member of the former Junior Order of United American Mechanics of Carmichaels. The Reb Adcock was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Air Force. He was a graduate of the Ninth College Training Detachment (9 CTD) at Waynesburg College. Surviving is his wife, the Rev Carol Richey Adcock, whom he married July 2, 1945. Also surviving are a son, Danny Adcock of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Kathy) Manning and Mrs. Frank (Bonnie) Shimkets, both of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Danielle Adcock, Timothy Koller, Amber Manning, Kristina Manning and Sylvia Manning Shankle; a brother, Alonzo E Adcock of Louisville, Ky; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Heltsley of Fort Collins, Colo, and Mrs. Carl (Mary) Hill of Detroit, Mich, and several nieces and nephews. Deceared is a brother, J Wesley Adcock.
