Nancy Galbreath Lashbrooks was the daughter of John and Polly Ann Keith Galbreath. She was born in Scott County, Indiana in 1824 and moved to Coles County with her parents around 1830.

She married George W. Lashbrooks in Coles County, Illinois on March 12, 1840. George W. was born in Spencer County, KY in 1818 and died in Coles county, IL in 1893.

Nancy and George had the following children: Mariah E, Clarinda, Thomas J., James, Rebecca, Jarrett, William and Laura B.

Nancy has no headstone. It is believed that George W. is also buried in the Patsy Mitchell Cemetery with his wife and son, Jarret Lashbrook.
