Masonic graveside services will be at 10 am Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Antelope Cemetery, with Mr. Joe Corne, son-in-law officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.
Jimmy was born September 19, 1942 in Jacksboro, Texas to Harry Theo and Lela Jane (Garrett) Dodson. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners and the Holliday Volunteer Fire Department. He was a truck driver. He married Barbara Jean Cross July 28, 1961 in Antelope, Texas.
His parents and wife preceded him in death.
He is survived by 3 children, Cindy Corne and husband, Joe of Fort Worth, Texas, Marvin Dodson and wife, Kristi of Holliday, Texas and Jaima Sandoval and husband, Gabriel of Burkburnett, Texas; brothers, Jerry Dodson of Wichita Falls, Texas and Michael Dodson of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Laci Dodson, Aaron Corne, Josh Erickson, Abby Corne, Paige Dodson, Adam Corne, Avery Erickson, Landon Erickson and Nevaeh Sandoval; great grandchildren, Kynlee Dodson and Jentri Reid.
