Elisa was united in marriage three times during her life-time: first, on April 27, 1893 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Longstreth. Elisa and Joseph were blessed with the birth of at least two children during their short 6 year marriage:
Alice Stokes Longstreth Harmar
Joseph Longstreth, Jr.
Elisa was left a widow at the age of 33 with two small children when her husband Joseph passed away in Para, Brazil after contracting yellow fever,
And second, on June 16, 1903 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Morrison Allison Janney. Elisa and Morrison were married for 5 short years when Morrison passed away at the age of 40 due to dilation of the right heart ventricle secondary to thrombosis of the mesenteric vein.
And third, on September 9, 1911 in Schuylkill, Pennsylvania to William Worrell Wagner. Elisa and Worrell were married for 24 years and were quite the society couple according to newspaper articles.
Elisa passed away at the age of 68. She is interred with Worrell and his parents.
