HEINRICH ECKHARDT (his father was also Heinrich) was born 12 January, 1855 in Frank, Russia and died 6 August 1829 in the Hospital in Hastings, NE. of sugar diabetes at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 24 days.
In 1877 he married Anna Margaretha nee Wagner, who, on 19th of November 1927 preceded him in death. One of the daughters, Mrs. Guenter died during the year. In the year 1887 the deceased came with his family to America and lived all the years since, in and near Hastings, NE. He labored hard and diligently in his lifetime and found a special joy in living.
He leaves five sons, two daughters, 27 grandchildren, six brothers and two sisters. --Hastings, NE, J.Wagner & J.H.Ament, Pastors."
