Dorothy L. "Besecker" Landis, 91, of Greenville, formerly of Arcanum, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.

Dorothy was born in Dayton on January 1, 1924, the daughter of the late Milford O. and Lillie G. (Burk) Stein.

Mrs. Landis was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Arcanum.

She was the owner of the Bible Book Store in Greenville.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her 1st husband Byron Besecker who died in 1988 and 2nd husband Lowell Landis who died in 2009, son Richard Besecker, Grandson Phillip Slyder and sister Ruby Cunningham.

She is survived by Daughter Donna (Mark) Slyder of Ansonia; Son Jack (Bonnie) Besecker of Byrdstown, TN; 6 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandsons.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, Arcanum with Pastors Greg Greve and Dan Kuhbander officiating.

Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.
