Margaret E. Slusser, 91, Defiance, died
at 5:35 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005, in
Laurels of Defiance.
She was born April 13, 1914, in Van
Wert County, the daughter of Henry and
Mary (Wisher) Miller. In 1940, she married
Ernest Claypool, who died in 1948.
In 1956, she married Oris Slusser, who
died in 1979. She worked at Campbell
Soup Supply Co. in Napoleon, Van
Wert Manufacturing and Charles Store
and was a member of First Baptist
Church.
Surviving are two sons, Dana (Patty)
Miller of Edgewood, Ky., and Sam
(Debbie), Defiance; two daughters,
Mrs. Claude (Judy) Lolmaugh and Mrs.
Charles (Shirley) Groll of Defiance; three
brothers, Rev. Carl Miller of Bucklin
and Rev. Paul and Richard Miller of Van
Wert; and 17 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren and four great-greatgrandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Nellie Adams and Ruby Miller, in infancy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Yazel officiating.
Entombment will be in Riverview Memory Gardens mausoleum.
