Funeral Services for Hugh L. White Today at 3 o'clock
Funeral services for Hugh L. White, widely known Cove City farmer, who died at his home Monday morning at 7 o'clock following an illness of one week, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Asbury Methodist Church with the Rev. F. M. Fitts, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Asbury cemetery.
Mr. White was a prominent farmer of the Cove City section. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World fraternal order.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lonie White; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Ipock and Mrs. Essie Heath of Cove City; five sons, H. M. White, J. E. White, J. M. White and E. M. White all of Cove City, R. G. White of Raleigh, two stepchildren, (unreadable) Mrs. Harvey Cox of Cove City; three half sisters, one half-brother and 18 grandchildren.
