Services for Irene Britt Barbee of Forsyth were held Saturday, May 15, 1999 at Sherrell, Wilson, Mangham funeral home in Jackson with burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
Barbee, 74, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999. Born in Butts County she was the daughter of the late James Quitman and Emma Turner Britt. The widow of Charles Barbee, she was a Baptist.
Survivors include her sister Helena Hembria of Montezuma; several grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Sherrill, Wilson, Mangham funeral home had charge of the arrangements.
