BRIGHAM CITY - Leo Allen Walker, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away peacefully January 10, 2015.
Leo was born on June 30, 1920 to Marion Verner and Sylvia Bateman Walker.
He graduated from Box Elder High School and then from Weber State College as an aircraft welder.
He served in the Army Air Corps in North Africa and Europe from 1942 to 1945.
Leo married his sweetheart, Beth McCrary on May 23, 1945.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His church callings included service as a High Counselor, Stake Mission President, and Temple Worker.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and above all spending time with his family.
Leo is survived by his children: daughter, Karen (Bob) Hills, daughter, Marilee Wilson, daughter, Teri (Kenneth) Tuttle, son, Rick (Loretta) Walker, daughter, Janae (Zane) Hansen, twenty-four grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren, and his sister, Shirley (Robert) Haynie. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and six siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Brigham City 8th Ward Chapel, 139 E 300 N. A viewing will be held that morning from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at the same location.
