Mrs. Carrie J. Tolmie, 85, Route 2, Clinton, died en route t Beloit Hospital after suffering a heart attack this morning.
Carrie Harrop was born March 13, 1874 in Beloit. She was married to Donald Tolmie Dec. 26, 1928. Mrs. Tolmie was a member of Rockford Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Mildred Tolmie and Mrs. Alice Smith of Route 2, Clinton, with whom Mrs. Tolmie made her home the past 13 years; five grandchildren, and a sister, Florence Moran of Superior. Two sons died previously.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Tolmie of Route 2, Clinton, who died Saturday morning, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Schoenfeld Funeral Home, 1837 Park Venue. The Rev. Stanley Crosland officiated. Burial is in Greenwood cemetery, Rockford.
