Born Sept. 15, 1891, near Brook, she graduated from Brook High School in 1909.
She taught in one-room schools in Newton County until her marriage in 1915 to Richard A. Conn. He taught in rural school and was a postmaster in Brook, and preceded her in death in 1972.
Mrs. Conn also worked in the Brook post office from 1943 until retiring in 1959. She moved to Lafayette in 1973.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, Brook.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary E. Peacock of Plainfield; and two sons, Clair C. Conn of Lafayette; Richard A. Conn Jr. of Overland Park, Kan.; and 4 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one brother.
