Mrs. Antone (Irene) Kraszewski, 90, Pulaski, died peacefully Monday morning, September 17, 2012. The daughter of the late Peter Sr. and Anna (Ostrenga) Budzban, was born March 21, 1922, near Poland, Wisconsin, where she married Antone Kraszewski on June 13, 1942. She was a member of the St. Ann Society of Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski, and was the 1999 recipient of the St. Ann Society Outstanding Stewardship Award. Irene was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, farming, growing large vegetable gardens, and hosting parties. Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday party when her family came to enjoy all the delicious food she had spent the previous three days preparing. Irene and Tony enjoyed traveling in their retirement. They wintered in Arizona or Florida for a number of years. Irene was blessed with her special friend, Vicki. They enjoyed baking and helping others.Survivors include her husband, Antone, Pulaski; children, Tony (Pat) Kraszewski, Green Bay; Alan (Darlene) Kraszewski, Suamico; Mary Lou (Jim) Majewski, Pulaski; daughter-in-law, Karen Kraszewski, Pulaski; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Delores Budzban, and Ethel Budzban; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Kraszewski; grandson, Alan Kraszewski; granddaughter, Kathy Majewski; and daughter-in-law, Rosemary Kraszewski; brothers, Nick (Magdelin), Felix, Edmund (Evelyn), Mitchell (Beatrice), Nester, and Peter; sisters, Rose (Jerome) Wypyszynski, Albina (Ed) Goral, and Evelyn (Ben) Wertel.Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, Closing Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The visitation continues at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 124 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
