Mrs. Anna Heatter died at her Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn home at the age of 72 years. She was the widow of Henry Heatter, a clothing manufacturer, and one of the founders and first president of Brooklyn Women's Hospital. She also organized many social service groups that were affiliated with the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities.

She immigrated to the United States when she was twelve years old. She was the mother of Gabriel, Max and Edward Heatter, Helen Heatter Goldberg, and Sadie Heatter Asofsky. She has three brothers: William, Edward, and Charles Fischman of Manhattan, and two sisters: Fannie Koerner and Sadie Nathanson.
