Loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Andy G. Dannels passed away March 10, 2004. Born Dec. 6, 1916 in Denison, Iowa to Andy G. and Lillian Flahive Dannels. Married Norma Ann Ebert on Feb. 15, 1938. Moved his family to Ogden, UT in 1943 where he worked at Hill Air Force Base. In 1946 he went to work for Allen Oil Company where he managed several service stations in Salt Lake, retiring in 1982. Survived by three sons Richard (Terry), Wyckoff, NJ; Robert (Georgianne), Midvale, UT; Roger (Stephanie), Irmo, SC; grandchildren: Evelyn, Elizabeth, Deanna, David, Drew; great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Jack, Isabella, Olivia, and Emma. Preceded in death by his wife and three grandchildren. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 13, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 9757 S. 1700 E. A viewing will be held Friday, 6-7 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 So. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. The family wishes to express their thanks to the ICU nurses at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.
