Mrs. Mary Altman Of Blacshear Passes Away.
Mrs. Mary Altman, widow of Edward Altman, died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. B. F. Davis last Saturday night at 8 o'clock, of heart failure. Her remains were laid to rest at Shiloh Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Her funeral will be preached on the third Sunday in June by Elder James Strickland. Moderator of the Alabaha River Primitive Baptist Association.
Mrs. Altman was born in Appling county in 1848, being 61 years old at her death. She leaves two children, three brothers and many other relatives to mourn her demise. The children are Mr. J. W. Altman and Mrs. B. F. Davis, the brothers are Messrs. George, Henry and D. R. Johnson. - Blackshear Times. (Contributed by Cameron Padgett)
