William Lawrence "Billy" McKinney Jr.,42, of 576 Gilliam Rd. died Wednesday (Jan. 14, 2015).
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00PM Sunday (Jan. 18, 2015) at Thompsonville Baptist Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of William Lawrence McKinney and the late Judy Kirkman McKinney and he had lived in the Williamsburg Community all of his life. Billy was a member of Thompsonville Baptist Church and a member of the N.C. Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Council. He was a Captain with the Rockingham Co. Emergency Medical Services.
Surviving is his wife: Lisa Stewart McKinney of the home, daughters: Sydney Layne McKinney and Brooke Shea McKinney of the home, father: W. L. McKinney of Reidsville, sisters: Sherrie Roach (Brooks) of Reidsville, Sonya McKinney of Reidsville, & Deneen Matthews of Reidsville.
The family will see friends from 2:00 till 4:00PM Saturday (Jan. 17, 2015) and 6:00 till 8:00PM Saturday (Jan. 17, 2015) at Thompsonville Baptist Church and at other times, they will be at the residence. Citty Funeral Home is assisting the McKinney family.
