Bette Jean Schubert Hilbert
Bette Jean Schubert Hilbert, 71, passed away Oct. 29, 2001, in Seguin, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Hardy Childress officiating. Interment will be at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday[, Oct. 30].

Mrs. Hilbert was born in Sept. 13, 1930, in Seguin, Texas, to Lee and Thelma Brawner. She married Maurice Hilbert July 2, 1996, in Floresville, Texas. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband Maurice Hilbert of Seguin; four sons, Jay Schubert and wife Denise of Seguin, Trey Schubert and wife Jentina of San Antonio, Jon Hilbert and wife Anna of Austin and Tim Hilbert of Singapore; two daughters, Tina Hartgrave and husband Dan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Rebecca Pavovsky and husband David of Georgetown; one sister, Bobbie Frerking of Caldwell; one brother, Lee Brawner and wife Nancy of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hilbert was preceded in death by her father, Lee Basil Brawner; her mother[,] Thelma Brawner; one son, William Drew Schubert[,] and first husband Herbert W. Schubert Jr.
