Sara Jane "Janie" Filtz, 60, of Dresden, TN died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her residence in Dresden, TN. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
Janie was born February 17, 1954 in McKenzie, TN to Ethel McCloud Wheat and the late B. J. Wheat. She was a housewife and Methodist in faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Janie is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Filtz of Dresden; two sons, Phillip Filtz of Dresden and Josh Filtz of Southaven, MS; one grandchild; her mother, Ethel Wheat of McKenzie, TN; and two brothers, Larry Wheat and Sam Wheat, both of McKenzie, TN.
