Daughter of Robert F. and Sybil O. Craig Smith, she was widowed, retired, lived at 1134 Liberty St, Franklin, died there of flu pneumonia, per death certificate 47567, whose informant was Laura Anderson of Franklin. Buried Apr 10 1923.

The 1910 census lists her as divorced, living on Buffalo St, Franklin, with daughters Laura and Jane.

Mrs. Caroline Anderson died at 12:15 pm Sunday at the Business Girls' Club, where she had been living with her daughter. She was born July 4, 1845 in Mercer County.

She came to Franklin 30 years ago and lived here since. She was distinguished for her activity as a member of First Presbyterian Church and Sunday School, and of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society, never missing a meeting until failing health made attendance impossible.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Miss Laura Anderson of Franklin, Mrs. E. W. Kirk of Louisa, KY, G. C. Anderson of Franklin, and R. P. Anderson of Aberdeen, WA; a brother, D. W. Smith of Mercer County; and a sister, Mrs. W. A. McCoy of Mercer County.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Business Girl's Club with Rev. Benjamin Bunn Royer, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
