WAUNAKEE/MADISON — Mrs. Ann Nesson, age 88, died on Thursday, February 11, 1999, at the Meriter-Park Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1910 in La Farge, Wisconsin, in a log cabin, the daughter of John and Rebecca. Mrs. Nesson had worked for many years at Weber's Pastry Kitchen, and later was the executive director of the housekeeping department at the Belmont Hotel. Ann loved learning, and attended and took many classes at Madison Area Technical College. She also enjoyed dancing very much. Mrs. Nesson was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Survivors include a daughter, Lexy (Bill); a son, Robert; five grandsons; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Nora Strangeway of Janesville, Wisconsin; two brothers, John O'Connor of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Robert O'Connor of Waterloo, Wisconsin; and a special friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John C. on December 28, 1983; a brother, Orville Kittilson; and three sisters, Nellie Wolf, Mary Johnson, and Edna Ellis. Funeral services will be held at GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 116 W. Washington Ave., at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 1999. The Rev. John Fetterman will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
