Gary Irving Bishop, 69, of Clifton Forge, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, in the Lewis Gale Medical Center, Blacksburg.
Mr. Bishop was born on October 9, 1945, in Staunton, a son of the late Robert Lee and Edith Elizabeth (Wilson) Bishop.
Gary worked as a boiler operator for Wilson High School.
Mr. Bishop is survived by a brother, Ronald W. Bishop and wife Emily of Verona; a nephew, Jason Bishop and wife Luisa of Fishersville; and two nieces, Allison Bellamey of Stuarts Draft and Tamara Nicely and husband Elvin of Richmond.
A private graveside will be held in Augusta Memorial Park.
