Funeral services were held for Frances M. Coppi, 85, of Carroll Township, who died Thursday, April 14, 2011, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born on Jan. 5, 1926, in Monongahela, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Staffen) Hann. A lifelong resident of Monongahela, Frances was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved her flowers, especially those in her numerous flower gardens, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed watching the television shows, Survivor, and Dancing with the Stars. She was loved and will be sadly missed by her family. Frances is survived by her husband of 62 years, Amos A. Coppi (sweethearts for 69 years); her four children, Jeff Coppi, of Centreville, Va., Larry Coppi, of Monongahela, Amy and husband, Randy Anthony, of Monongahela, Kathy and husband, Bob Telegraphis, of Monongahela; three grandchildren, Amanda Anthony (Adam Thompson), Alaina and Adam Telegraphis; one sister, Dorothy Gaydos, of Monongahela; two brothers, Stanley (Phyllis) Hann, of Munhall, and John (Kay) Hann, of Minneapolis, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Comer; and two brothers, Joe and Walter Hann. Interment was held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township, with the Rev. Douglas Boyd, close friend and former neighbor of the family, as celebrant.
