Teresa Bell was born in Leadhill, Arkansas to William M. Trusty and Lavena Laura Hughey.
She married Samuel Riley Campbell January 31, 1904 in Stamford, Texas. They had five (5) children.
She is the mother of Elvie Ozell Campbell Richardson Mackey and the Grandmother Opal Eunice Richardson Anderson.
Obituary
Teresa Belle Campbell of McAdoo, a Crosby County resident for over two-thirds of a century, was claimed by death at 2:15 a.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Campbell was 95.
Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. Officiating were the Rev. Preston Beeks, a Baptist minister from Odessa; Elder, L.M. Handley of the Cross Plains Primitive Baptist Church; and Rev. Chuck Stoddard, a Baptist minister.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton directed arrangements.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Born Feb. 14, 1887, in Lead Hill, Ark., she was married to S.R. Campbell on Jan. 31, 1904 in Stamford. The couple moved to Crosby County in 1915 from Haskell County.
Mr. Campbell preceded his wife in death Nov. 24, 1967.
Mrs. Campbell was a longtime member of the Pansy Baptist Church and was a charter member of the Pansy WMU. She was a housewife.
Survivors include one son, Chester L. Campbell of Marble Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Marley of McAdoo, Mrs. Ivy Wall of Crosbyton, Mrs. Leo Koelder of Hale Center and Mrs. Elvie Mackey of Lubbock; one sister, Edna Collins of Haskell; nine grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
