Earl N. Reid, 63 resident of Urbana for 27 years, died Feb. 17, 1963 in Virginia Gay hospital in Vinton. Funeral services at the First Christian Church. Rites conducted by Rob Morris Lodge A.F. and A.M. Burial in the Urbana cemetery.
Earl Reid was born April 29, 1899 in Toddville, the son of George A. and Maude Matheny Reid.
He married Oct 7, 1920 to Alma Carver in Cedar Rapids. They moved to Urbana in 1935 and Mr. Reid started Urbana Feed and Implement Co. He served overseas in WW I. He was a member of Walter J. Meyocks Post 264 of the American Legion, Rob Morris Lodge 500 A.F. and A.M., the Order of Eastern Star and the Shrine and Consistory.
